Samarkand to host annual meeting of EBRD Board of Governors

On May 16-18, Samarkand will host the 32nd annual meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors. The event will be accompanied by a business forum.

The annual meeting and business forum include a dynamic program of events and panel discussions that will bring together leading government officials, financial and corporate leaders, civil society representatives, and the media.

The central theme of the business forum will be investing in sustainability. 

It will offer expert discussion panels and events on the macroeconomic environment, the role of the private sector and politicians in promoting renewable energy, inter-regional connectivity, economic integration, food security, digitalization and more.
