US ready to help further improve qualifications of English language teachers in Uzbekistan
The United States will help improve the qualifications of 15,000 English language teachers in Uzbekistan and provide textbooks to more than 10,000 schools.

As you know, on February 28, the US Secretary of State visited Uzbekistan. During the trip, Antony Blinken also paid a visit to the Uzbekistan State World Languages University and met with a group of students who are learning English on the basis of the Access program.

Also, the US Secretary of State spoke about cooperation in the field of education in an exclusive interview with a Kun.uz reporter.
“Nowadays, English has become an international language. So, I think, it is important to learn it for doing business, for using the information on the Internet, and for several exchange programs,” he said during the interview.
