First meeting of special representatives of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries kicks off in Tashkent
This morning, the first meeting of special representatives of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries began its work in Tashkent, Dunyo IA reported.

The meeting was opened by Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev.
At the meeting, the delegations of Iran, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are discussing the current situation in Afghanistan, including humanitarian aspects, and touching upon the issues of interaction between the parties to resolve the situation in the country and establish long-term peace and stability.
During the meeting, participants will determine the place and time for the second meeting of the special representatives of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries, as well as exchange views on the timing of the 4th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries in Tashkent.
