Media: Chief accountant of SE UzTest pays himself a salary of 468 million soums for 2 months

Unconfirmed information about the monthly income of an employee working in the position of chief accountant in the state institution of the Scientific-Testing and Quality Control Center of Uzbekistan (UzTest) was spread on social networks.

In it, it is said that the chief accountant of the center paid to himself monthly in the amount of 157,590,680 soums in January and 310,808,200 soums in February.

UzTest expressed an official reaction to the situation.

“Currently, we inform you that a working group has been formed in connection with this message and studies are being conducted in order to determine whether the message is biased or truthful. Additional information will be provided following the studies,” the organization said.
