Uzbekistan and India sign memorandums of cooperation in medicine for $300 million
Tashkent hosted a Health Forum between Uzbekistan and India, within the framework of which contracts on cooperation in the field of healthcare were signed.

The event was attended by representatives of the health authorities of the two countries, the diplomatic corps, leading private medical centers in India and heads of large pharmaceutical companies.
The event noted that this year, on the basis of a public-private partnership with the Indian company NEPHROCARE HEALTH, hemodialysis centers for 150 beds in Nukus and 250 beds in Bagat and Urgench districts will be launched. The day before, a hemodialysis center for 160 beds was also launched in Tashkent.
The amount of investments in these projects amounted to $12 million.
Over 100 memorandums and contracts worth $300 million were signed with Indian partners during the forum.
