About 1.5 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan left for South Korea for work in Jan-Apr 2023
Over the past four months of this year, 1,482 citizens of Uzbekistan left for South Korea for work (228 in January, 464 in February, 528 in March, and 262 in April).

According to the quota set by the Human Resources Development Service of South Korea, this year 110,000 labor migrants are expected to enter the country from 16 countries on the basis of the E-9 visa.
The number of quotas allocated by the country is determined based on the demands of South Korean employers.
Each of the 16 countries sending workers to South Korea has an average quota of about 6,875.
