Emir of Qatar arrives in Samarkand

On June 5, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

At the Samarkand airport, the Emir of Qatar was met by the President of Uzbekistan.

In honor of the distinguished guest, the state flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up. A solemn ceremony was held with the performance of national songs and dances.

It is noted that today the leaders of Uzbekistan and Qatar will visit the sights of the ancient city of Samarkand together.
