Uzbekistan increases tea imports 

According to the Statistics Agency, in January-May 2023, Uzbekistan imported 14,700 tons of tea from 23 foreign countries for about $21.1 million.

The volume of tea imports increased by 718 tons compared to the same period last year.

During the reporting period, Uzbekistan imported tea mainly from the following countries:

China - 11.4 thousand tons
Kenya - 1.0 thousand tons
Iran - 893 tons
India - 338 tons
Kazakhstan - 247 tons
Sri Lanka - 185 tons
Indonesia - 179 tons
Russia - 175 tons
UAE - 173 tons
