Second season of initiative budget process to kick off on July 17

According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, this year’s 2nd season of the initiative budget process will be held from 10:00 on July 17.

Accordingly,

•  1st stage – processes of citizens’ creation of projects from 07.17.2023 to 08.06.2023;
•  2nd stage – selection processes of projects by a special commission from 08.06.2023 to 08.26.2023;
•  3rd stage – voting processes for projects will be held from 26.08.2023 to 15.09.2023.

According to preliminary estimates, more than 1 trillion soums are expected to be allocated from district (city) budgets for this season.

It is noted that these funds will increase until the end of the season.
