Türkiye may implement a project to mine marble and build affordable housing in Navoi 

The delegation led by the governor of Navoi region, Normat Tursunov, went on a business trip to Turkey.

According to the information service of the regional administration, on the first day of the trip, the members of the delegation held negotiations with the management of the Sarıkoç Holding company.

During the negotiations, cooperation was established in trade-economic and investment spheres, and it was agreed to hold an Uzbekistan-Turkey business forum in Navoi by the end of this year. Sarıkoç Holding company has reached agreements on the mining and processing of granular phosphorite in Konimekh district and the implementation of investment projects in the textile and textile industry.

During the visit, representatives of the regional delegation held talks with the heads of large Turkish companies such as Orbak Metal Industry, Lidya Granit Mermer, KNDF Group, TIW Company.

Agreements were reached on production of hydrogen peroxide in the city of Navoi by Orbak Metal Industry company, organization of marble and granite extraction and processing in the region by Lidya Granit Marble Company, implementation of projects in the field of tourism by KNDF Group Company, and construction of affordable housing in rural areas by TIW Company.

Representatives of the regional delegation also visited the Istanbul Industrial and Free Trade Zone (Desbash) and got acquainted with the conditions created for investors, land areas with infrastructure, buildings, closed areas, public and private warehouses, offices and open stock areas.
