Turkmenistan appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has appointed a new Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan.

The corresponding decree was signed on July 31.
In accordance with the document, Shadurdy Meredov has become the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Uzbekistan.
Prior to the appointment, he headed Turkmenistan’s diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
It should be reminded that the previous ambassador of Turkmenistan, Yazguly Mammedov, was dismissed from office in mid-July this year.
