Tashkent may limit movement of trucks during rush hours
The Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the city of Tashkent is working on the issue of restricting the movement of trucks around the city during rush hours. The implementation of this decision will depend, among other things, on the population of the capital.
The police department is conducting a survey on this topic in its telegram channel. Truck traffic may be restricted from 07:00 to 10:00 in the morning and from 17:00 to 20:00 in the evening.
So far, more than 4,400 people have taken part in the survey, 89% of them agree with the ban.
This is not the first such initiative. Earlier, the city administration tried several times to introduce this restriction in a more stringent way. It proposed to allow the entry of trucks into Tashkent only at night, but the restrictions were never introduced.
