Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives UN Assistant Secretary-General Miroslav Jenča

The President of Uzbekistan noted the importance of further expanding multifaceted cooperation with UN institutions.
On August 18, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Miroslav Jenča, the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Europe, Central Asia and Americas.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of further expanding multifaceted cooperation within the framework of implementing the long-term Sustainable Development Goals.
Miroslav Jenča conveyed to Mirziyoyev the sincere greetings and best wishes of the UN Secretary-General António Guterres. He noted that the UN structures are ready to continue to support Uzbekistan in carrying out reforms.
