Uzbek law enforcement agencies to participate in training courses on combating terrorism in the United States
From 2024, it is planned to conduct special tactical training courses for law enforcement officers in Uzbekistan within the framework of the US State Department's Counter-Terrorism Assistance Program.

On August 21, representatives of the US State Department's Anti-Terrorism Assistance Program (ATA) visited the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and met with the deputy chairman of the committee N. Musamuhamedov and other officials.
According to the press service of the Committee, the work carried out by the Customs Committee in the fight against international terrorism, preventing the movement of drugs and other illegal goods was recognized at the meeting.
It was also reported that starting from 2024, the ATA program plans to hold special tactical training courses for law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the fight against terrorism.
Representatives of the US delegation also visited the National Canine Center. They were given a tour of the center and demonstrations of service dogs.
