Consumers embezzled natural gas and electricity worth more than 46 billion soums over a month
The most cases of illegal use were observed in Andijan, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent regions.
In August of this year, 785 cases of illegal use of natural gas and electricity by consumers were detected, the information service of the Inspectorate for Controlling Use of Electricity, Oil Products and Gas reports.
29 million 104 thousand cubic meters of natural gas (26 billion 297 million soums) and 38.9 million kWh of electricity (19 billion 932 million soums) were embezzled. Currently, measures are being taken to recover 46 billion 229 million soums of damage caused to the system.
Andijan, Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent regions account for the most cases of illegal use.
Actions were taken against the violating consumers in the prescribed manner, and relevant documents were submitted to the law enforcement agencies.
