Foreign Minister Saidov takes part in SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, who is in New York City, took part in an extraordinary meeting of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers.
“Within the framework of the 78th UNGA session, together with colleagues from Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, the Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Russia, and Tajikistan, we held an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in New York,” Saidov wrote in his Telegram channel.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the modernization of the SCO based on the decisions of the heads of state at the Samarkand summit.
The sides also considered prospects for interaction with the UN.
