Samarkand to host international investment forum of UNWTO
More than 1,200 representatives of the tourism industry are expected to attend the event under the auspices of UNWTO.

The global investment forum of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will be held in Samarkand, the Tourism Committee said.
The event will be held from 16 to 20 October as part of the 25th UNWTO General Assembly session. The meeting is expected to be attended by representatives of leading players in the tourism services market, government organizations, and academic circles.
The investment forum will provide a platform for more than 1,200 representatives of the tourism industry. Among them are potential investors, founders, and team members of innovative startups.
According to the session program, the forum will be held on October 17. Based on its results, a number of memorandums, agreements, and contracts, including those regarding investment projects, will be signed.
