Shavkat Mirziyoyev talks to Vladimir Putin over the phone
The presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda.
On November 29, Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed. The parties exchanged views on the practical implementation of the agreements reached during the high-level visit of President Mirziyoyev to the Russian Federation on October 5-7 this year.
The leaders of the two countries noted with satisfaction the consistent strengthening of Uzbek-Russian relations of comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance, as well as expanding multifaceted cooperation.
It is noted that the dynamics of growth in mutual trade turnover indicators continue, cooperation projects are being implemented in various sectors of the economy, and fruitful interregional contacts are developing. The day before, a large joint agrological complex was launched in the Jizzakh region.
The heads of Uzbekistan and Russia also welcomed the active cultural and humanitarian exchange and ongoing programs in the healthcare sector.
