Uzbekistan appoints a new ambassador to Spain
The former MFA Department head will start work in Madrid.
Reportedly, Farrukh Tursunov was appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Spain.
It is noted that today, December 7, Farrukh Tursunov arrived in Madrid.
Since 2018, he has been managing the General Department of Strategic Analysis and Forecasting of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Department of Aggregate Information and Analysis.
Farrukh Tursunov was appointed to replace Jakhongir Ganiyev, who has been the head of the diplomatic mission in Madrid since 2017.
