Uzbekistan increased gas exports to China by almost 30% in November
Gas exports rose for the second month in a row.
In November, Uzbekistan increased natural gas exports to China by almost 30%, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
In November, monthly supplies of Uzbek gas to China amounted to $54.58 million, an increase of 29.2% compared to October. Gas exports to the PRC continue to grow for two months in a row.
In January-November, Uzbekistan exported natural gas to China for $509.03 million, which is half the figure for the same period in 2022.
Turkmenistan still remains the main supplier of gas to China, which delivered $8.82 billion worth of blue fuel over 11 months. Russia is in second place, almost doubling its natural gas exports to $5.88 billion. Next comes Myanmar ($1. 34 billion) and Kazakhstan ($1.21 billion).
