Agricultural land plots will be leased through electronic auctions, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.
According to the presidential decree of January 18, from March 1, 2024, the lease of agricultural land is carried out through an electronic online auction instead of the previously practiced electronic competition.
The land plots will be leased for 30 years, and the initial price is set at the level of the standard cost of land.
Winners of online electronic auctions are allowed to pay land rent for three years in equal monthly installments.
For farming, individual gardening, vegetable gardening and livestock farming, citizens included in the “Iron Notebook”, “Women’s Notebook” and “Youth Notebook” will be able to pay the cost of the land plot in interest-free installments over a period of five years.
From March 1, tenants of agricultural land plots have the right to transfer their rights and obligations for lease to another person without changing the purpose of using the land.
By the end of this year, agricultural lands that have not passed state registration, but are used in practice, will be returned to the state reserve or the rights to lease them will be officially registered.
