Uzbekistan, Sweden discuss issues of cooperation in field of environmental protection
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nodir Ganiyev met with the head of the international business department of the Swedish Institute of Environmental Research, Gina Hedbring, and the project manager of this organization, Simone Andersson.

During the negotiations, the Swedish side presented its research and projects carried out by the Institute of Environmental Research in a number of countries in the field of biodiversity, environment, climate change, digitalization, energy, forestry, water resources and waste management and in many other areas.
An exchange of views took place on the prospects for cooperation in the field of ecology and environmental protection, as well as water resources and waste management.
As a result, an agreement was reached to continue regular contacts and cooperation in areas of interest to both sides.
