Tashkent City Transport Service JSC Chairman detained on embezzlement and fraud charges
The Chairman of Tashkent City Transport Service JSC, Anvar Jurayev, has been detained under suspicion of committing crimes specified in two articles of the Criminal Code.
According to the press service of the Tashkent city court, Jurayev is suspected of crimes under Article 167, Part 3, Paragraph "a" (embezzlement or misappropriation through fraudulent means), and Article 209, Part 2, Paragraph "a" (office forgery) of the Criminal Code.
On February 7, the Yunusabad district court's ruling satisfied the Deputy Prosecutor General’s petition to detain Anvar Jurayev. Consequently, the presiding measure was taken to hold him in custody.
He was ordered to be detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
