Uzbekistan and Switzerland agree on mutual car cargo and passenger transport without special permits
On February 8, 2024, the Protocol signed on June 23, 2023, between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Federal Council of Switzerland, amending the bilateral intergovernmental Agreement of April 3, 2002, on international road transport of passengers and goods, as well as the Protocol on its application, came into effect.

The main objective of this document is to facilitate bilateral international road transport between Uzbekistan and Switzerland without requiring special permits.
The entry into force of this international agreement will reduce unnecessary bureaucratic barriers for carriers and create more favorable conditions for them.
