Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover hit $4.2 billion in January
According to the Statistics Agency, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached $4.2 billion in January 2024.
Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the volume of FTT decreased by $870.1 million, or 17.2%.
Uzbekistan conducted trade relations with 137 countries of the world in January.
During the reporting period, China was Uzbekistan’s main foreign trade partner (27.2%), followed by Russia (18.3%), Kazakhstan (6.5%), Türkiye (5.1%), and the Republic of Korea (4.3%).
Over the month, exports amounted to $1.1 billion, while imports reached $3.1 billion.
