Saida Mirziyoyeva meets with PM of Qatar

Presidential assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the Prime Minister of Qatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in Doha.
“We discussed in detail the prospects for the development of Uzbekistan-Qatar relations, as well as the schedule of future events,” she wrote.
During the conversation, it was noted that mutual relations have entered a new stage in 2023.
“Samarkand (June 5-6, 2023) and Doha (October 2, 2023) summits gained historical significance and opened the door to new aspects of cooperation. We can say that a completely new era has begun in relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar.
We are interested in developing mutual cultural and educational relations. We intend to establish strong ties with Qatari partners and actively implement joint projects,” Saida Mirziyoyeva said.
On February 24, the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art presented the exhibition project “Artisan Uzbekistan: tradition in fibers” at the Design Biennale in Doha, Qatar. Saida Mirziyoyeva, assistant to the president, also took part in it.
