8 automatic air pollution monitoring stations were delivered to Andijan, Namangan, Navoi, Fergana, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Tashkent regions and Tashkent city, the press service of the Ministry of Ecology reported.

The delivery and launch of automatic stations is carried out within the framework of the joint project of the Zamin Foundation and the Hydrometeorological Service Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change “Automation of monitoring of atmospheric air pollution”.

It is noted that after configuration and testing, the equipment will be connected to a single database. Regional employees of the Hydrometeorological Service Agency will undergo special training.

Data received from the stations will be sent to the national platform monitoring.meteo.uz/uz.

It should be recalled that in April last year, the first two automated stations were launched in test mode in Jizzakh and Gulistan.
