Car spare parts store exploded in Bukhara, one person dead
The explosion is believed to have been caused by a gas-air mixture in the store’s basement. As a result of the explosion, 2 concrete slabs of the 1st floor collapsed.
An explosion occurred in one of the shops in the city of Bukhara, the MES press service reported.
Reportedly, today, March 1, at 08:57, a flash fire occurred in the auto spare parts store on the 1st floor of the 2-story building located on Alpomish Street, “Yoshlik” mahalla, Bukhara city. It is allegedly caused by a gas-air mixture in the store’s basement.
As a result of the flash fire, 2 concrete slabs of the 1st floor collapsed. The cause and damage of the incident are currently being determined. No fire was registered at the scene.
According to the preliminary information, as a result of the incident, 1 citizen died on the spot and 1 more citizen was sent to the hospital with various injuries.
Fire-rescue crews of the regional and city emergency situations, DIA, prosecutor’s office, “Khududgaztaminot” and Healthcare Department employees arrived at the scene.
Preliminary investigations are being conducted in connection with the above case.
