This Friday, March 29, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change will hold the “Car Free Day” campaign in Tashkent.
This is envisaged in the presidential decree “On the state program for the implementation of the strategy “Uzbekistan – 2030” in the Year of Support for Youth and Business”.
The main goal of the action is to promote a healthy lifestyle, as well as to attract public attention to the issues of protecting the environment from harmful gases emitted by cars, reducing traffic in large cities, and developing a public transport system.
The Ministry of Ecology calls on everyone not to remain indifferent to the action being held on this day and to make a choice in favor of public transport, bicycles and other types of transport that do not harm the environment.
