Previously, we reported that an accident occurred on the Samara-Shymkent highway involving a Volvo cargo vehicle and a Toyota-Alphard minivan, resulting in the death of the minivan driver and seven passengers, all of whom were citizens of Uzbekistan, at the scene.

In accordance with the president's instructions, a government commission has been formed to organize the transportation of the deceased's bodies back to their homeland, as well as to manage their burial arrangements.

The Ministry of Defense has allocated a military aircraft for the transportation of the corpses of the deceased compatriots.

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the situation is under special control, and the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Aktau is cooperating closely with the relevant organizations in Kazakhstan.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan into the accident (Violation of the rules of road traffic or operation of vehicles by persons driving the vehicles).
