Director of Pharmaceutical Safety Center replaced
According to the relevant order of the Minister of Health, the director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Safety under the ministry, Agzam Nortoyev, was relieved of his position due to transfer to another job.
Instead, Alisher Temirov was appointed acting director of the Center for Pharmaceutical Product Safety.
A. Temirov graduated from the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute in 2009. Prior to his appointment, he served as head of the Department for Regulation of Pharmaceutical Sector and Determination of the Need for Medicines under the Ministry of Health.
It should be recalled that Agzam Nortoyev, who at the beginning of 2023 worked as the head of a department at the center, was accused of bribery by the then minister Amrillo Inoyatov. All the more unexpected was the appointment of Inoyatov seven months later, in September 2023, as director of the Center for the Safety of Pharmaceutical Products.
