Number of female taxi drivers increased sharply in Uzbekistan

According to the Tax Committee, the number of self-employed female taxi drivers in Uzbekistan has increased over the month. If as of March 1, 1,053 women were registered, then in April their number increased to 1,500.

In general, over the past month the total number of self-employed drivers increased from 420.8 thousand to 481.4 thousand.

Of these, 213.1 thousand people operate through six online aggregators integrated with the information systems of tax authorities (Yandex, Uklon, MyTaxi, Intellekt servis, Promo Technology group and TOTMEGA).

It is noted that since the beginning of the year, 866.3 billion soums of income have been legalized through the issuance of fiscal checks, and 20.4 billion soums of taxes have been paid by drivers.
