Uzbekistan, Netherlands discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in trade-economic and investment spheres
Yesterday, another round of Uzbek-Dutch political consultations took place in Tashkent.
During the political consultations, the parties reviewed the current state and priority areas of bilateral relations.
During the meeting, issues of intensifying political dialogue, realizing the existing potential for cooperation in the trade-economic and investment spheres, developing inter-parliamentary contacts, strengthening cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as expanding ties between leading scientific and educational institutions of the two countries took center stage.
The agenda of the negotiations also included issues of building partnerships in the textile and agricultural industries. Mutual interest in increasing bilateral trade and implementing joint projects was confirmed.
Particular attention was paid to the schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming joint events of a bilateral and interregional nature, including in the “Central Asia – European Union” format.
An exchange of views also took place on other issues of the bilateral and regional agenda.
