Female passenger from Uzbekistan brawls on an airliner board in Dubai
UAE law enforcement authorities removed two women from the flight.
According to the Department of Safety in Transport and Tourism Facilities, on April 16 in Dubai, Uzbekistan Airways flight No. HY-334 was preparing to fly to Tashkent. The plane’s doors were closed and the ramp was removed, but due to unfavorable weather conditions, the departure was delayed. At this time, one of the passengers, a citizen of Uzbekistan (born in 1979) started a scandal that escalated into a brawl. She swore loudly and demanded that the plane doors be opened. The airliner’s crew unsuccessfully tried to comfort the enraged woman. Another passenger also tried to calm her down, but this led to a fight between the women.
Dubai airport police removed both passengers from the flight, which ultimately had to be delayed for 2 hours, which resulted in a forced change in the schedule of other flights and additional costs for the air carrier in the amount of $5,037.
The Safety Department in Transport and Tourism Facilities carried out a pre-investigation check against the passengers, the amount of damage was fully compensated, protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up and sent to court.
