Prime Minister of Malaysia to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan
Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on May 17-19, the press service of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reports.
The program of the first day of the visit provides for events and negotiations at the highest level in Tashkent.
“The agenda of the summit includes issues of developing a systemic political dialogue and expanding cultural and humanitarian exchange, promoting specific programs and cooperation projects in the field of trade, innovation, energy, petrochemicals, industry, electrical engineering and electronics, agriculture and other sectors of the economy,” the report reads.
In addition, there will be an exchange of views on the current international agenda. The head of the Malaysian government will also visit Samarkand and Bukhara, where he will get acquainted with the sights and take part in a joint business forum.
