Mirziyoyev and Putin discuss strengthening strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia
On May 21, the Presidents of Uzbekistan and Russia had a telephone conversation.
According to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan, the discussion focused on issues related to further expanding the multifaceted Uzbek-Russian cooperation and strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership, and alliance relations.
The leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia reviewed the progress of agreements reached following high-level meetings, as well as the schedule for upcoming bilateral events.
Special attention was given to increasing trade volumes, implementing cooperative projects between leading enterprises, and promoting cultural and humanitarian exchange programs, including through enhanced interregional contacts.
