China leads Uzbekistan’s top foreign trade partners list for early 2024
The Statistics Agency has provided information about Uzbekistan’s major trade partners for January-April 2024.
During the reporting period, China has taken the lead as Uzbekistan's highest-share trading partner in foreign trade turnover, amounting to $3.9 billion.
According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, Russia and Kazakhstan followed, respectively, with shares in foreign trade turnover of $3.8 billion and $1.2 billion.
The figures for the remaining countries in the list are as follows:
Türkiye – $920.2 million
South Korea – $695 million
France – $386.4 million
Germany – $345 million
Afghanistan – $308.6 million
Turkmenistan – $288.5 million
India – $270.3 million
