Official welcoming ceremony for Uzbekistan’s president takes place in Ankara (photos)

Today, June 6, the official welcoming ceremony of the President of Uzbekistan took place at the presidential palace.

A guard of honor lined up in honor of the distinguished guest. Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stood on the podium. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Turkey were played. The presidents of the two countries walked around the guard of honor.

Then negotiations between the heads of state began in a narrow format, during which issues of further development and strengthening of Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership were discussed.
