Japan imposes sanctions against a company from Uzbekistan
The Japanese government included companies from Uzbekistan, India, China and the UAE on a new sanctions list for circumventing restrictions against Russia imposed due to the war in Ukraine.
The restrictions are being introduced taking into account “the current international situation around Ukraine, as well as with the aim of promoting international efforts to achieve international peace aimed at resolving this issue, in accordance with measures taken by other major countries”.
Among the companies included in the sanctions list is Mvizion from Uzbekistan, which supplies electronic components. The USA and Great Britain have already introduced restrictions against this company.
New Japanese sanctions also affected seven companies from China and one each from the UAE, India, Kazakhstan, as well as 11 individuals and 42 organizations from Russia.
