President of Mongolia to arrive in Uzbekistan on a state visit
The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan from June 23 to 26. He will hold talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and will visit Khiva.
"According to the program of the visit, it is planned to hold high-level talks in Tashkent, during which issues related to the further expansion and strengthening of Uzbek-Mongolian relations of friendship and multifaceted cooperation will be discussed," the presidential press service reported.
The agenda for the talks includes plans for developing constructive political dialogue and inter-parliamentary contacts, increasing bilateral trade turnover, implementing cooperative projects in the mining sector, agriculture, animal husbandry, light industry, healthcare, transportation, logistics, and other areas.
Following the summit, the signing of a package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents is anticipated. In addition, the leaders of the two countries are expected to meet with representatives of leading companies and business circles.
According to the press service, the President of Mongolia will also visit Khiva, where he will become acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of our people.
