Uzbekistan and Mongolia strengthen ties with 14 new agreements
A significant set of agreements aimed at expanding the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia has been signed.
Following productive negotiations between the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, a ceremony for the signing of bilateral documents took place.
The leaders signed a joint declaration on interstate relations and cooperation.
During the state visit of the President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan, a total of 14 documents were inked, including:
– An intergovernmental program on trade, economic, and investment cooperation for 2024-2026;
– An intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism;
– An intergovernmental agreement on air communications;
– An intergovernmental agreement on international road transport;
– A cooperation program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2024-2025;
– A memorandum on cooperation between the Secretariats of the Security Councils;
– An agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Agriculture;
– An agreement on cooperation in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry;
– An agreement on scientific cooperation between Academies of Sciences;
– A memorandum on cooperation between national news agencies;
– A memorandum on cooperation between Chambers of Commerce and Industry;
– A memorandum on the establishment of a Joint Business Council;
– An agreement on cooperation between the administrations of the cities of Tashkent and Ulan-Bator.
