Passerby dies due to gas cylinder explosion in Fergana

According to the Fergana regional DIA, the accident occurred on June 27 in the territory of the central market of the Rishtan district.

The driver parked the Lacetti car and entered the market. Then car’s gas cylinder exploded, as a result of which citizen A.A., who was nearby, received bodily injuries. Despite the medical assistance provided, he died.

Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Paragraph “a” of Article 259-2 of the Criminal Code (Violation of fire safety rules resulting in the death of a person), a preliminary investigation is underway.
