22-year-old detained in Tashkent region for attempting to sell 1 billion UZS worth of mephedrone

A 22-year-old citizen was detained in the Tashkent district for possessing a large quantity of synthetic drugs, according to the regional police department.
During a raid, law enforcement officers found 1 kg 433 g of mephedrone worth approximately 1 billion UZS in the car of 22-year-old A. T.
It was reported that the young man planned to sell the drugs in parts using drop points.
A criminal case has been initiated under part 5 of article 273 (Illegal sale of narcotic substances, their analogs, or psychotropic substances in large quantities) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
