“Zangiota-2” covid center to be transformed into children’s multidisciplinary hospital
The corresponding resolution was signed by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution “On the creation of the Tashkent city children’s multidisciplinary hospital”, UzA reports.
The document states that on the site of the empty buildings and structures of the specialized center No. 2 “Zangiota”, intended for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection, a modern specialized medical center will appear for children under 18 years of age.
The Tashkent city children’s multidisciplinary hospital will have a capacity of 500 beds, its creation will be financed from the state budget.
It is noted that the buildings and structures of the “Zangiota-2” hospital with the corresponding territory will be transferred to the children’s hospital free of charge.
The children’s hospital will provide highly qualified medical consultation and specialized inpatient care to children under 18 years of age.
Construction and repair work in the buildings and structures of the children’s hospital will have to be completed before September 1 of this year.
