Saida Mirziyoyeva praises Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan relations as a model for the world
"While conflicts are escalating around the world, the political tandem of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is striving to turn Central Asia into the safest, most prosperous, and friendly region," said Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan, in her speech at the Zakovat Games held in Astana.

“Today, the friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are an example for the whole world,” Mirziyoyeva noted. "We feel at home here because we have so much in common: traditions, customs, culture, cuisine, names, history, religion, and hospitality."
"Why do I say that today we feel like we are at home? Do you remember how it was before? I do. Everyone remembers.
Cold relations... Hours-long queues at the border between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan... Distrust... Could we feel at home back then?
But today, the friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are an example for the whole world. Our leaders have been able to find answers to the most pressing issues. While conflicts are escalating around the world, the political tandem of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is striving to turn Central Asia into the safest, most prosperous, and friendly region," emphasized Mirziyoyeva.
