State Assets Management Agency begins privatization process for 'Humson' sanatorium and 'Olmos' recreation zone
The president ordered the privatization of the "Humson" sanatorium in an April decree.
The State Assets Management Agency has announced the selection of a consulting company for the privatization of the "Olmos" recreation zone and the "Humson" sanatorium.
The consultant is required to organize the sale of assets considering industry specifics. Their scope of work includes analyzing the management of recreation zones, a comprehensive analysis of the properties, and preparing proposals for the privatization mechanism.
The consultant must provide recommendations to enhance the investment attractiveness of the properties, improve corporate governance, and structure. They must also develop a marketing strategy and engage with potential buyers.
Applications are accepted via email at [email protected]. The deadline is 18:00 Tashkent time on August 29.
Applications are accepted from both individual companies and joint commercial proposals or consortium applications. Proposals can be prepared in Uzbek, Russian, or English.
About the Assets
The "Olmos" and "Humson" recreation zones are located in the Ugam Mountains of the Bostanlyk district. Both properties administratively belong to the village of Humson, 80 km northeast of Tashkent.
The "Humson" sanatorium occupies an area of 14.9 hectares and includes buildings and structures with a total area of 14,900 square meters. It can accommodate up to 253 guests simultaneously.
The "Olmos" recreation zone is designed for 216 people. The property covers an area of 5 hectares, with buildings occupying 1,548 square meters.
The President ordered the "Humson" sanatorium to be put up for public auction in April. At the same time, he tasked the sale of state shares in another 246 enterprises.
