Tashkent to host Uzbek-Egyptian political consultations

During the conversation, issues of organizing visits and events that will raise the quality of cooperation between the two countries to a new level were discussed.
The main focus was on areas with great potential, in particular interregional cooperation and trade and investment interaction. It was noted that there are opportunities for establishing industrial cooperation in Egypt's free economic zones, joint production of textiles, household and agricultural equipment, mineral fertilizers and their subsequent export to African and European markets.
During the negotiations, prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of agriculture, cotton growing and livestock breeding, selection and other areas were also discussed.
It was emphasized that cooperation in the field of literature and art is of great importance.
In order to discuss these issues in detail, it was decided to hold the 11th round of political consultations and the Uzbek-Egyptian business forum in Tashkent in September.
