Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Kazakhstan awarded the Order of "Dostyk"
On August 16, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Astana, Saidikram Niyazkhodjayev, who is concluding his diplomatic mission, was awarded the Order of "Dostyk" II degree, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Murat Nurtleu, presented the state award to Niyazkhodjayev and wished him continued success in his future professional endeavors.
During the meeting, the minister emphasized that thanks to the political will of the heads of state, Kazakh-Uzbek relations in recent years have reached the level of strategic partnership and alliance. He also highlighted the significance of the visit by the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to Astana on August 7-8.
The Uzbek diplomat expressed his deep gratitude for the high evaluation of his work by the leadership of Kazakhstan and expressed confidence in the continued progressive development of Kazakh-Uzbek relations in the spirit of friendship, brotherhood, and good neighborliness.
Saidikram Niyazkhodjayev was appointed Ambassador to Kazakhstan in March 2018. Before this, he held positions as Deputy State Advisor and Deputy Minister of Economy. From 2015 to 2018, he served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
