Through the efforts of the staff of Uzbekistan's Consulate General in Almaty, minors who were left unattended in Kazakhstan for various reasons have been returned to their homeland.
In cooperation with the "Center for Supporting Children in Difficult Situations" and the Almaty City Department of Education, the necessary documents were prepared to repatriate 17-year-old I.R., 12-year-old S.R., and 2-year-old M.N. to Uzbekistan.
On August 24 of this year, diplomats from the Consulate General handed over the minors to an officer from the Main Directorate for the Prevention of Offenses under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan for their safe return to their homeland and transfer to their close relatives.
