Germany ready to employ nurses and drivers from Uzbekistan with monthly salaries starting from €2,200
The corresponding agreement was signed during a meeting between business representatives from the two countries in Samarkand.
Uzbekistan and Germany have signed an agreement on sending railway transport specialists, bus drivers, and nurses to work in Germany. Their minimum monthly salary will be €2,200, said Behzod Musaev, the Minister of Employment and Labor Relations.
He noted that 400 nurses from Uzbekistan are already working in Germany, and an additional 400 will be sent this year.
"A very important document has been signed, an intergovernmental agreement on migration and mobility. First of all, there is a huge demand in the German labor market in the medical field. In addition, Germany’s transport system today is in need of labor resources. We will organize German language courses for specialists in these fields, and upon completion, they will have the opportunity to work in Germany," the minister said.
He added that, under this agreement, simplified visa procedures will be considered, and contracts will be signed with many German employers for the deployment of Uzbek specialists.
